Painting Water and Reflections / Another Lesson in Painting Small

  1. Your work is lovely and I've been enjoying your videos. I have seen the videos of you in your studio - how do you handle pastel dust safely? Pastel dust is toxic, e.g. they contain cadmium, cobalt, and other metals. I am afraid to use mine in my house because of the dust particles (many you can't see) can get easily distributed in your house (can't use a vacuum - the particles are too small). Please see this safety article by the Artists Network: http://www.artistsnetwork.com/the-artists-magazine/is-your-pastel-studio-safe
